The Mechanical Engineering Faculty of the Szent István University and Agricultural Engineering Board of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences are delighted to invite you to a joint conference organized around an important and actual question of our century:

Please find the finalized timetable of the sections and also some pieces of
practical  information just before planning your travel to Hungary.

The registration will be open from 15:00 till 18.00 on Sunday at the Students
Hostel Hall where some of the participants booked accommodation. The welcome
party will be organized also there from 19:00.

There is no change in the program of the conference, the final version can be
found on the homepage (http://synergy.szie.hu).

The registration opening hours on Monday: 8.00-18.00 at the Aula of the
Faculty of Mechanical Engineering where the Plenary Session will also take
place at 9:00-11:15.

Synergy in the Technical Development of Agriculture and Food Industry
II. International Conference of the CIGR Hungarian National Committee, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Szent István University, and the Agricultural Engineering Board of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences


Topics
Focusing on technical and technological development the conference discusses the synergy between the agriculture and industry, energetics, education, and research. The topics are focused on crop and horticultural production systems, post harvest technologies, animal husbandry, measuring techniques, basic research for agricultural engineering, economics of agricultural production, forest engineering, renewable energy resources and raw materials, mechanical engineering, maintenance, and machinery management.

The conference deals with the up-to date questions of the solar, geothermal, wind, biomass energy, heat pumps, and hybrid power plants of regenerative energies. Besides of the above mentioned actual questions and research results of the environmental industry, logistics, precision farming, furthermore issues of computer aided engineering, production systems, project management also will be discussed.

Fee
Before registration deadline: 350 EUR
After registration deadline: 400 EUR

Please note that travel, living, accommodation expenses and personal medical insurance is not included in the conference fee, and will not be supported by the conference organization.

The Conference fee includes: participation on the welcome party, the sessions, reception, cultural programme, one day study tour, summaries and the whole conference materials in electronic form, furthermore meals, and soft drinks during breaks.

Optional two day study trips will be organized to visit professional establishments, traditional, cultural and historical sights.
